Research Experience

Undergraduate Research Fellow

TOBB ETU, Superconducting Quantum Electronics Laboratory

Ankara, Turkey

Principal Investigator: Prof. Ali Bozbey
Supervisor: Prof. Ali Bozbey, Prof. Mehmet Ünlü

  • Quantum Logic & Gate Design: Implemented single- and two-qubit Clifford logic gates on a 5-qubit flux-tunable transmon architecture using pulse-level control.

  • QPU Calibration: Automated calibration workflows for quantum processors and benchmarked qubit couplings, including SWAP-type and cross-resonant interactions.

  • JPA Characterization: Conducted experimental characterization of an in-house Josephson Parametric Amplifier (JPA) in three-wave and four-wave mixing modes at a 12 mK base temperature.

  • Quantum Optics & Noise: Demonstrated single-mode and two-mode squeezing, vacuum squeezing photon sources, and quantum-limited noise profiles to validate parametric amplification characteristics.

  • Methodology: Applied circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) and Hamiltonian-based analysis to interpret experimental outcomes and guide measurement strategies.
